At Joyful Robins, we recognize that toddlers are naturally curious and eager to explore the world around them. Our Toddler Program (18 months to 2.5 years) is designed to nurture their independence, creativity, and essential early development skills in a safe, engaging, and supportive environment.
“Under our mixed-age licensing, we accept a limited number of children starting at 10 months of age as early toddlers, subject to parental consent and the child’s suitability.”
We maintain an intimate teacher-to-child ratio of 1:5, ensuring individualized attention for every child. Each of our toddler rooms accommodates a maximum of 15 children, led by three dedicated early childhood educators. Our teachers create a warm and inclusive atmosphere where each child feels safe, valued, and encouraged to explore at their own pace.
Play is the foundation of early learning. Our program offers a balanced mix of structured activities and free play, carefully tailored to stimulate cognitive, physical, and social-emotional growth. Our daily activities focus on:

As toddlers develop self-help skills, our teachers gently guide them in daily routines like washing hands, dressing, and early potty training if not trained. Our collaborative approach with parents ensures a smooth transition to the preschool stage, fostering confidence and independence.

We have obtained Director’s approval for mixed-age enrolment, as per Ministry directives aligned with the Child Care and Early Years Act 2014. Subject to parental consent and the suitability of the child, we can accept a limited number of infants aged 12 months and above in our junior toddlers classroom.
